Overview

Following the end of the Vietnam Conflict in 1975, this group of Americans organized to help rebuild Vietnam through "people-to-people aid to Vietnam." The coalition involved approximately 36 religious, political, and community organizations.

Overview Cora Weiss is a peace and social justice leader and activist. She is a supporter of the United Nations, an early member of Women Strike for Peace, a leader in the anti-Vietnam war movement in the United States. In the 1970s Weiss was the director of the Riverside Church (New York, NY) Disarmament Program. Weiss was also active with SANE, SANE/Freeze, Peace Action, and The Hague Appeal for Peace.
