A Quaker lobbying group established in 1943 to bring conscience and spiritual values to the political process in Washington; it grew out of the work of the Friends War Problems Committee in 1940.

Some papers of Gilbert F. White (1911-2006), a geographer and president of Haverford College, relating to some of his experiences serving the American Friends Service Committee during World War II and letters received while president of the college.
William Huntington papers
The collection relates primarily to William Huntington, (1907-1990), a 20th century Quaker peace activist and the ship The Golden Rule which Huntington and others used to protest atomic testing in the South Pacific. Included are correspondence, photographs, conference papers, newspaper articles, memoranda, and minutes.

Josiah P. Marvel scrapbook
The scrapbook of Josiah P. Marvel includes Nazi documents, such as certificates and letters, from Marvel's time in occupied France during the summer of 1940, while travelling to and from Paris in service to the American Friends Service Committee. Documents include permissions from Nazi commanders in France, as well as The Hague and Brussels. Also included is a map of the location of prison camps, clothing lists, and a printed booklet on the National Work for Infants.
Portrait albums of AFSC units (#1 and #2), World War II, 1939 - 1945
These two albums consist of small portraits of people involved with AFSC during WWII. The portraits are black and white, and are accompanied by names. Some of the photographs are missing.
