Horsham Preparative Meeting; hdg. used for records bef. 1827; in 1716, a mtg. for worship was est. at Horsham by Abington Mo. Mtg.; Horsham Prep. Mtg. was est. in 1717, and transferred to Horsham Mo. Mtg. in 1782; the Orthodox prep. mtg. was transferred to Abington Mo. Mtg. (Orthodox) in 1827 and discontinued as a prep. mtg. in 1907; Horsham Mtg. was finally discontinued in 1920, and its members attached to Abington Mtg.; the Hicksite prep. mtg. met regularly until 1938 when at the incorporation of Horsham Mo. Mtg. it became an instrument of that body, meeting annually until 1959
