Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of the single volume manuscript of the "Poems of Su-Shieh," and the labels that accompanied it during an earlier exhibit. This modern copy of the poems of Su-Shieh was produced as a copy book for practice in handwriting. The original poems of Su-Shieh, according to the introduction of the volume, were written during a party when Su-Shieh was reading ancient poetry to his guests, and suggested that they write their own poems. Taylor Family Papers

Overview This collection traces several generations of the Quaker Taylor family, but centers on Francis R. Taylor (1884-1947) and George Washington Taylor (1803-1891). The former was an attorney and collector of information about his own and related families as well as local historical information. The latter who ran a free produce store in Philadelphia in the period before the American Civil War was connected through his interests in free labor to many correspondents.

Overview The Edwin Tomlinson autograph album contains signatures and selected quotes from students at Haverford College from 1859 to 1859.
