The singular Peace and Service Committee of the New York Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends existed from reunification of the Hicksite and Orthodox branches in 1955 through 1966, when the Peace and Social Action Program Steering Committee was established, uniting the Peace and Service Committee with the Steering Committee for a Peace Action Program.
