Leeds and Maule family genealogy

Scope and Contents This collection is composed of one original book and a set of photocopied indices. The book is handwritten, and along with the genealogy includes many glued in photos, newspaper obituaries, and several genealogies or family trees of Leeds families. The set of indices is presented as an index for the family genealogy, and was compiled in 1947 by Morris Leeds.

Leeds and Tatum family collection

Scope and Content The collection consists primarily of photographs depicting various Tatum and Leeds family members, including Sarah Mickle Tatum and Lewis L. Tatum, but also Daniel Leeds and a picnic at the Joseph Sturge First Day School. In addition, there are commonplace books of Sarah M. Tatum, at least one kept while she was a student at Westtown Boarding School in Westtown, Pennsylvania and of Lewis L. Tatum.

Morris Evans Leeds papers

Scope and Contents The papers of Morris Evans Leeds (1869-1952), a Philadelphia Quaker who graduated from Haverford College and became president of Leeds & Northrup Company, manufacturers of precision instruments. He was also an inventor and developer. Leeds was a member of the Board of Haverford College and active on the School Board of Philadelphia.
