Overview Horace Mather Lippincott (1877-1967) was a Quaker editor and historian. The collection contains his speeches and writings on topics primarily concerning the Society of Friends and the history of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Overview A collection of papers relating to H. Mather Lippincott, Haverford College class of 1943, dating from his days as an undergraduate and through a number of class reunions, the latest being the 57th reunion in 2000. In addition, there is a cloth doll of a Quaker lady, Mrs. Phillips, created by Franklin, as well as some negatives of work accomplished by the architectural firm of Cope & Lippincott.
