Overview In 1968 Steven Wayne Trimm was convicted for refusing induction into the armed services and served four years prison. Trimm fled to Canada in 1969 where he lived underground until 1974. Two years later he received clemency from the U.S. government under the Earned Re-entry Program and was pardoned.
