Scope and Content note This collection is composed of the single unbound volume, handwritten manuscript of a "biographical sketch" of James Pemberton. A note at the front of the volume relates how the pages were "copied from manuscripts in the hand of Henry Pemberton." Henry Pemberton then loaned them to Joseph Elkinton, who created this copied volume.
