Francis Barton Gummere songbook and notebooks
The Francis Barton Gummere songbook and notebooks consists of three volumes of papers created by Gummere. There is a songbook created during his time at Haverford College in addition to his notebooks on Germanic life and the philosphy of Baruch Spinoza.
Ambrose Hunt course notes
The collection consists of two notebooks. The first contains notes on Lectures on Greek Tragedy. The second holds notes on lectures given by Henry D. Gregory to the senior class. The Gregory lectures seem to be partly autobiographical.
John W. Spaeth lecture notes
This collection is made up of two notebooks: one for English 9a (1915-1916) and one for English 10b (1916). Both classes were taught by Dr. Francis B. Gummere.
Sigmund Spaeth philosophy notes
This collection contains a notebook with notes and illustrations about philosophy and Christian theology written by Sigmund Spaeth during his time as a student at Haverford College between 1901 and 1905.
Newbold Hough Trottter ethics notebook
One volume of Newbold Hough Trotter's notes on ethics for a class at Haverford College. The notes are from a course in ethics by Daniel B. Smith, which was conducted in 1843, and detail several ethical discourses prominent at the time.
