Alumni course papers
This collection consists of a single, bound, 89 page paper that is on the topic of religion.
Lloyd Balderston papers
This collection contains two volumes compiled by Lloyd Balderston while he was a student at Haverford College between 1837 and 1839. One contains prose and poems written by himself and other Haverford students, and the other is his notebook with handwritten essays and annotations.
Erroll B. Hay course papers
This collection is an assortment of academic papers from Hay's time at Haverford. Topics of these papers include Shakespeare, early Greek philosophy, rugby, college athletics, personal reflections, and immigration. Additionally, there is a script for a play, "Burial of '95", written by Hay.
Francis R. Taylor course papers
Francis R. Taylor was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on December 31, 1884, and attended Haverford College from 1902 to 1906. His course papers contain class notes between the years of 1903 and 1906.
John Trimble Troth notebook
This collection contains a notebook with essays by Troth, some that were read at society meetings or written for the Haverford publications, particularly the Collegian.
Franklin Whitall essays
The essays are primarily assignments for an English 12 class at Harvard University. There is coursework from both Fall 1893 and Spring 1894. Additionally, there are some personal reflections from Spring 1894 and several undated works. Finally, there is a chart from the American Anthropometric Association that plots out Whitall's weight, height, girth, depth, breadth, and strength on October 24, 1889 and May 8, 1890.
