Francis Barton Gummere songbook and notebooks
The Francis Barton Gummere songbook and notebooks consists of three volumes of papers created by Gummere. There is a songbook created during his time at Haverford College in addition to his notebooks on Germanic life and the philosphy of Baruch Spinoza.
Howard L. Haines autograph and composition books
Howard Haines’s autograph book contains five categories: Faculty, Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman. Each entry includes basic information on members of these categories, except in the case of the faculty, which was left almost entirely blank. His composition book contains several essays concerning animals, historical and contemporary figures, national histories, and notes on several scientific and mathematical subjects.
Samuel Morris notebooks
This collection contains notebooks with notes written by Samuel Morris during his time at Haverford College from 1842 to 1844. There is also one volume about a trip he took around Pennsylvania in 1838.
John Trimble Troth notebook
This collection contains a notebook with essays by Troth, some that were read at society meetings or written for the Haverford publications, particularly the Collegian.
