Album #5: Lydia J. and Ezekiel Hunn family, circa 1870-1900
Scope and Contents
Cabinet sized and carte-de-visite album, labeled. The first images, Ezekiel and Lydia J. Hunn followed by her siblings and then extended family: Hunn, Sharpless, Wood. Includes copy photographs made 1880s by F. Gutekunst from earlier daguerreotypes. Donor noted that the images were identified by Katherine Hunn Karsner, in her handwriting.

Biographical / Historical
Katherine Karsner identified the family members and their relationship. For example, group photograph of the children of Ezekiel and Lydia Jones Hunn circa 1850 identifies them as (Papa) Ezekiel Hunn [1841-1926], Uncle Townsend Sharpless Hunn, Aunt Mary Hunn Wood. Printed by F. Gutekunst, Philadelphia: Reverse notation it was taken from a circa 1850 daguerreotype.
