George B. Jackson, Swarthmore College Class of 1921, was a New York Quaker businessman. A member of New York Monthly Meeting, he was interested in family history and compiled the collection which contains farm daybooks of his great grandfather James M. Overview
The Lupton family was a Quaker family from Hopewell, Virginia. David Lupton, the son of Joseph and Rachel Lupton, married Mary Hollingsworth at Hopewell Monthly Meeting of Friends in 1777. They had nine children, including a son, Joel, who married Sarah Haines.
