Abstract Miscellaneous papers of Abraham Bonsall and his family, 1682-1918. Of note are the marriage intentions of Job Sinkler and Elizabeth Musgrave, 1771, colonial currency, 1756-1777, and a Bonsall family tree, no date.
Abstract Includes Townsend Cooper's receipt book, 1870-74, and miscellaneous receipts, the disownments of Elizabeth and Mary Cooper, a printed invitation to a quilting party, 1831, and other miscellaneous materials. Also includes genealogical notes on the Cooper and Hibberd families.
Abstract This collection is composed of correspondence of Elizabeth Howell and her family, Philadelphia-area Quakers. Most of the letters were received by Elizabeth Howell, many are condolence latters on the death of her mother in 1866. In addition to family news, there is a receipt for tuition at Friends Select School, a letter of acknowledgement from Israel Howell to Chester Monthly Meeting, and a short note relating the reaction of the author to the assasination of Abraham Lincoln. Abstract Collection of manuscripts of the Lewis and Pratt families of Delaware County in Pennsylvania. Includes bible pages with births, marriages, and deaths, as well as Quaker documents. Of particular interest is a letter from Thomas H. Speakman to his sister, M.M. Jenkinson on an inheritance which also includes a reference to Rowland Johnson, Lucretia Mott, Clement Biddle, and James Martin at the Cherry Street meeting house.
