Collections of still photographic types, including paper prints, cased photographs, glass plates, and slides. Historically, when processing a collection, FHL staff have often removed the photographs from the manuscript portion (e.g. RG4 organizational records or RG5 family or personal papers) and stored them as an associated PA photographs collection. FHL staff have also assembled alphabetical files by topic, such as the Meetinghouse Picture File.

Overview
The Arthur Hoyt Scott Horticultural Foundation was established at Swarthmore College in 1929 as a memorial to Arthur Hoyt Scott (1874-1927). The intention of the Foundation was to focus on plantings appropriate to Eastern Pennsylvania, creating a practical "garden of ideas" for amateur gardeners while at the same time improving the campus. Overview
The collection of Swarthmore College lantern slides contains historic images of the College and Borough of Swarthmore and photographs of College events and activities. The core of the collection was the selection presented by Professor George A. Hoadley at the Alumni Banquet on June 9, 1917.
