Mary Albertson Papers
Mary Albertson was born in 1895 and earned a Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr College. She joined the Swarthmore faculty in 1927 and served as chairman of the History Department from 1942 until her retirement in 1963. She died in May 1986. The collection contains notes and bibliography on index cards for book on British royal castles in the 13th and 14th centuries.
Carl Barus Papers
Carl Barus was a professor of engineering and social activist. He taught in the Engineering Department at Swarthmore College from 1952 to 1985. He was active in negotiating a resolution to the 1969 admissions office sit-in by SASS and subsequently served on the Black Concerns Committee. Contains papers on African American student concerns at Swarthmore from the SASS sit-in in 1969 to minutes and papers of the Black Concerns Committee in the 1980s.
Arthur Beardsley papers
Arthur Beardsley was a Professor of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Swarthmore College from 1872-1889 and Librarian of Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore College from 1893-1917. The collection contains bound notebooks with handwritten math and science problems with solutions, diagrams, and proofs.

Brand Blanshard Papers
Brand Blanshard was a Quaker philosopher, writer, and teacher. He taught philosophy at Swarthmore College 1925-1944 and subsequently at Yale University until 1962 where he served as the chairman of the Philosophy Department. The collection contains primarily published writings and some correspondence and unpublished speeches.
Robert C. Brooks Papers
Robert Clarkson Brooks (1874-1941) was a Professor of Economics at Swarthmore College from 1904-1908 and Joseph Wharton Professor of Political Science from 1912. The collection includes personal papers, including letters to a student, and lecture notes for various courses in political science.
Morris L. Clothier papers on Swarthmore College
Morris Lewis Clothier (1868-1947) was a businessman associated with Strawbridge & Clothier department store and a Swarthmore College alum who remained involved with the college from his graduation in 1890 until his death. The Morris L. Clothier papers on Swarthmore College, 1885-1948, consist of coursework, ephemera, nostalgic memorials, photographs, and other papers relating to Morris L. Clothier's time as a Swarthmore student and his involvement with alumni activities.

Joseph Conard (1911-1965) was a Professor of Economics at Swarthmore College from about 1949 until his early death in 1965. The collection contains his economics papers, lecture notes, and reading lists.
David S. Cowden Papers
Collection contains four unpublished manuscripts by David S. Cowden who taught English literature at Swarthmore College from 1949 until his death in May 1983. He was a 1942 graduate of Swarthmore College.
Alzina Stone Dale Papers
This collection primarily contains records related to the writing and publishing of Alzina Stone Dale’s book, When the Postwar World was New. The book was based on her 1952 trip diary of her summer spent in Finland working at an AFSC work camp and the letters she wrote home.
