Biographical / Historical

They raised money to purchase a home on Mt. Vernon Street and to rehabilitate it for a needy family. Later they lent money to the Crosstown Development Corporation and to the Cedar Park Community Development Corporation. According to Margaret Bacon's history of Central Philadelphia Meeting, the corporation was laid down in 1981.
