Scope and Contents Working hard, busy social life, folk dance competition. Death of FDR, distress about finding a lasting peace. Collection to mark V-E day, dance competition in NYC. Uncomfortable that at Collection there is regular hymn singing, not very Quakerly and also visiting the pretentious home of a classmate whose parents live in Philadelphia. She write that she is glad that she is a Jew from the Bronx.
