Biographical / Historical

John Haynes Holmes, pacifist and Unitarian minister, was a founder of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and the American Civil Liberties Union. He was a member of the War Resisters League, Fellowship of Reconciliation, and the American Committee for the Outlawry of War.
