Biographical / Historical
James William Van Kirk was a Youngstown, Ohio pastor; he designed the World Peace Flag, also referred to as the World Flag or World Federation Flag. It portrayed good will among nations through a band of rainbow colors converging on a sphere, uniting into white and encircling the globe.
