Charlotte Citizens for Peace; located in Port Charlotte, Florida; incorporated 1983; purpose was to work to reduce the risk of nuclear war by disseminating information about the special hazards of nuclear warfare and by persuading those in positions of public leadership to exert their influence toward eventual world nuclear disarmament; ceased operation in 1996.
