Biographical / Historical
Quakers in the greater Richmond area began meeting for worship separate from Richmond Monthly Meeting in 1987, in part because of overcrowding at the Richmond Friends Meetinghouse. Under the care of Richmond Monthly Meeting, Midlothian Indulged Meeting was established. Midlothian became a preparative meeting in 1989 and was set off as a monthly meeting in 1995. A dedicated meeting house was purchased in 2002. The meeting is active.
