Biographical / Historical

Concord Preparative Meeting was established Concord Monthly Meeting when it was set off from Eden Monthly Meeting by Farmington Quarterly Meeting in 1820. The name of Concord Preparative Meeting was changed to Collins in 1822. Two preparative meetings were formed at the time of the Separation in 1828. The name of Collins Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) was changed to North Collins in 1871. In 1906 the Hicksite preparative meetings were merged into the monthly to form East Hamburg Executive Meeting.
