Biographical / Historical

Abington Quarterly Meeting was established in 1786 by Philadelphia Yearly Meeting out of a division of Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting. After the Separation of 1827/1828, there were Hicksite and Orthodox branches of this quarterly meeting. The two branches reunited in 1955.
