Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of a single photostatic copy of a manuscript book of meetings, compiled about 1765 by an anonymous author, listing the Quaker Meetings in the Yearly Meetings of New England, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and North Carolina. according to a note on the back of the first page of the photostatic copy, the original manuscript was located at the Moses Brown School in Providence, R.I. as of 1932, and that it had previously belonged to a woman named Mary Olney. Overview This collection contains a handwritten copy of correspondance from William Smith, an Anglican priest and the first Provost of Philadelphia College (later the University of Pennsylvania), to an unnamed acquaintance in England regarding the political history of colonial Pennsylvania and the threat of a French invasion of the colony. Includes harsh criticism of the Germans residing in Pennsylvania and of the political inaction of the Quaker political elite.

Overview "A Cross Country Trip" is a photo album that follows an individual's month-long journey from Chicago, Illinois through Canada, the Northwest United States, and Southwestern United States before returning to Chicago. It includes images from Manitoba and British Columbia, Canada, Washington State, Oregon, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, and Illinois. While on this trip, the photographer captured images of the Chicago Stockyard, various industrial complexes, wildlife, canyons, rivers, and Native Americans.
