In the 1980s, May Virginia Bassett Little (1913-1994) created a series of family scrapbooks accompanied by short memoirs and excerpts from her diaries. She served as Executive Secretary of the Friends General Conference, chairman of a committee to organize the Friends World Conference held at Swarthmore College in 1937, chairman of the Friends Peace Committee of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, and was a founder of the Fellowship of Reconciliation.
