Overview Churchman frequently traveled throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions, and thus many of his diary entries describe his travels to visit various meetings and Quaker families from Pennsylvania to as far north as Massachusetts. Entries describe meetings attended and families visited in the various towns and cities that Churchman traveled to, as well as family news, and marriages and deaths within the Quaker community.

Evesham Social Reading Circle records

Scope and Contents This collection includes one volume of the Evesham Social Reading Circle minutes, originating constitution, and by-laws, and rules of order which have been signed by more than 70 founding members. The minutes contain committee reports, finances of the organization, and descriptions of the debates or readings held at the meeting.

Friends' Institute records

One set of reports is by the General Secretary of the Institute covering the years from 1928-1940. Among the secretaries were Mary Hoxie Jones, Virginia Reich, Peace Canby Hall. Among correspondents were David Alsop, Preston Buckman, Richard Lane, Clarence Pickett, Jonathan Steere, John Wills, Asa Wing, though in most cases, neither the letter writer nor recipient was from Friends...
