Abstract Another Mother for Peace was a women's peace group born from the antipathy to the war in Vietnam, based in Los Angeles, California. The stated purpose of this non-partison, non-profit organization was "to educate women to take an active role in eliminating war as a means of solving disputes between nations, people and ideologies." AMP closed its offices in January 1986.

Dorothy Detzer Papers

Abstract Dorothy Detzer was a peace activist, writer, and lobbyist. She served as the National Executive Secretary of the U.S. Section of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, 1924-1946.. Detzer influenced a Congressional investigation of the munitions industry, 1934-1936, and later wrote the book Appointment on the Hill, 1948, describing her two decades in Washington, D.C.

Overview Helen Hoy Greeley ( 1878 to 1965), was a suffrage activist, legislative counsel, lawyer, political organizer, and worker for environmental protection. In the 1920 and 1930s Greeley was connected with the Interorganization Council on Disarmament, and the Women's Consultative Committee on Nationality created by the Council of the League of Nations.

Abstract Hannah Clothier Hull (1872-1958), was one of the founders of the Woman's Peace Party and the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. She served as a national officer of the WILPF for nearly forty years. Hull was also active in other social reform movements.
