Overview The League of Nations Union was formed on October 13, 1918 by the joining of the League of Nations Society with the Free Nations Society. Overview The League was formed in 1915 at a conference held at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. It worked for a league of nations, a world court, and mandatory international conciliation.
