Overview The Joseph Cauffiel scrapbook documents Haverford College football team's games during the 1953 and 1954 seasons. The scrapbook contains gameday booklets, local newspaper clippings, and issues of "Haverford News" to relay information concerning the members of the 1953 and 1954 football squads and record the outcomes of the football games.

Howard Comfort diaries

Scope and Content note This collection is composed of three original, handwritten journals of Howard Comfort. Each volume is a small “pocket diary,” and entries include lists of assignments and readings for class, notes and quoted excerpts from materials Comfort had read, as well as descriptions of social calls and Quaker meetings.

John Davison papers

Abstract John Davison was a prolific composer who taught music at Haverford College from 1959 until his death in 1999. Several of his compositions were performed and recorded by orchestras throughout the United States. Within this collection are drafts of almost all his 144 scores, as well as audio recordings of a couple dozen of his pieces. Thus any researcher interested in his work should start here. Also of note to alumni are the scores Davison saved from his students.

Overview This small volume contains songs and poems collected by Thomas S. Downing Jr. (1852–1926) during his time at Haverford College. Downing, the son of a prosperous farmer in West Whiteland, Chester County, Pennsylvania, attended Haverford from 1869 through 1872.
