Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of a single photostatic copy of a manuscript book of meetings, compiled about 1765 by an anonymous author, listing the Quaker Meetings in the Yearly Meetings of New England, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and North Carolina. according to a note on the back of the first page of the photostatic copy, the original manuscript was located at the Moses Brown School in Providence, R.I. as of 1932, and that it had previously belonged to a woman named Mary Olney. Scope and Content note This anonymously written volume provides a list of every meeting held in Colonial America in 1772. Entries include the locations and dates of the yearly and quarterly meetings, and each entry for a monthly meeting includes a list of the particular meetings belonging to that monthly meeting. Meetings for Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. The volume includes an index for the meetings at the back.

Bacon from his father and brother while he was at Westtown School, and a love letter from Thomas Bacon to his future wife, Elizabeth Hall. Also contains the probate copy of the will of Charles West, Elizabeth Hall's copy book, the journal of Jane Wilson Bacon, and genealogical material on the entire family.

Most concern the education and treatment of Indians, African Americans, and Quaker children; also, opposition to war and the production of liquor by Friends. All are handwritten with corrections.

George D. Cock Family Papers

Abstract This small collection includes George D. Cock's journal in two bound volumes of his trip in 1843 from his home in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, through Quaker communities in the East, including Philadelphia and Baltimore. The journal includes comments on his courtship of Susan W. Smith, who he married in 1845. The collection also includes a balance sheet from 1843 on freight carried, his marriage certificate, and a letter from his daughter, Marion Cock, which includes family information.
