Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of a single photostatic copy of a manuscript book of meetings, compiled about 1765 by an anonymous author, listing the Quaker Meetings in the Yearly Meetings of New England, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and North Carolina. according to a note on the back of the first page of the photostatic copy, the original manuscript was located at the Moses Brown School in Providence, R.I. as of 1932, and that it had previously belonged to a woman named Mary Olney. Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of the single bound volume. The original account was written in 1798 & 1799. This copy, in an unknown hand, was likely written in the latter half of the 19th century. The volume describes Isaac Coates, Joshua Sharpless, and John Pierce's travel to Native American reservations on behalf of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting Indian Committee, and the work they did while there.
