This collection includes a letter written to Elliston P. Morris by T. Edmund Harvey in 1921. In the letter, Harvey mentions his association with the War Victims' Relief Committee and Friends' Council for International Service. He also discusses serious a serious industrial crisis in England regarding unemployment.

Biographical Note

Elliston Perot Morris (1980-1899) was the son of Marriott C. Morris and a graduate of Haverford College (class of 1922). He worked with the American Friends Service Committee after World War I, and was a conscientious objector during World War II. In 1942, he declined to register for the military draft, and was sentenced to prison for a year and a day. Morris lived in Feasterville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and was a member of the Religious Society of Friends. He died in 1980.
