Biographical / Historical
T. Canby Jones; Thomas Canby Jones; born of Quaker missionary parents, Thomas E. & Esther B. Jones in Japan in1921; graduated from Westtown Friends School and Haverford College (Pennsylvania) and received B.D. & Ph.D. degrees from Yale University; concerned with recovery of early Quaker vision and commitment; professor of religion and philosophy of Wilmington College from 1955 through 1987; died Feb. 13, 2014.
