Scope and Contents This collection contains two copies of the Constitution for the New Jersey Association for Helping Indians, 1757. One copy has signatures of subscribers who gave money for the cause, including John Woolman. The other copy was found among records at Haddonfield Monthly Meeting, Haddonfield, New Jersey.

It includes a letter from Richard Smith to his children upon their mother's death, originally written in 1737, and a memorial of his wife, Hannah, the daughter of James and Sarah Logan, originally written 1763.
Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of the three handwritten volumes of John Smith's "The Lives of Ministers of the Gospel Among the People called Quakers," as well as an index of the three volume collection. The manuscripts are composed of entries about Quaker ministers, arranged alphabetically. Entries briefly describe the life of each minister, largely relying upon quoted testimonies from Monthly and Yearly Meetings.
