Overview This was a grass-roots group organized in Vermont by young people, dedicated to educating children throughout the United States and around the world about the nuclear threat and what they could do to end the nuclear arms race.
Overview Dorothea Eleanor Woods was a Quaker who joined the World YWCA in 1957 and worked for ten years in development of youth and adult education programs. In the 1970s she was a pioneer researcher and writer about child soldiers.
