Edward Ash letterbook

Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of the single volume letterbook with copies of the letters of John Thirnbeck. The volume includes personal correspondence related to religious convictions, and family news. Letter writers include: Barclay, Anna Maria C. of Horne, Robert Barron, Gulielma Penn, and William Pim. A number of letters are addressed to George Fox.

A copy of a letter from Ellis Hooke to Margaret Fell is also included.

Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of Atwater's diary, 1862, written during his senior year at Providence Friends Boarding School (later Moses Brown School) ; letters concerning Brown University from which Atwater graduated in 1865, including from Caroline Hazard, W.H.P. Faunce, and William R. Harper ; club memberships and letters concerning the memberships and autobiographical remarks written in 1917 as well as an earlier biographical sketch.
