J. Rendel Harris collection
The collection is composed chiefly of manuscripts purchased by J. Rendel Harris (Haverford faculty member, 1886-1891) in Egypt, Palestine, and Lebanon. Manuscripts are written in Hebrew, Ethiopic, Syriac, Arabic, Armenian, Latin and other languages.
Khamsah, 1405-1414 C.E.; 807-817 A.H.
Incomplete copy of the Khamsah containing small portions of Makhzan al-asrār, most of Laylī va Majnūn, about half of Khusraw va Shirīn, and the first third of Haft Paykar; Iskandarnāmah is missing. 24 color illustrations, some unfinished.

Clear copy of the Shāhnāmah with two prefaces. Copy includes 32 illustrations and many blank spaces left in the text as if for illustrations.
گلستان. Gulistān , 1582-1853 C.E.; 990 A.H.
Copy of the Gulistan; leaves are somewhat battered and mostly disbound; some marginalia.
