Scope and Contents note This collection is composed of the original, handwritten, single volume journal of John Letchworth Kite. Journal entries largely describe Quaker Meetings in detail, including the names of each person who spoke at meeting, what their message was, and how Kite felt about each particular message. In addition to detailed descriptions of Meetings, Kite's entries also include his own personal spiritual and religious reflections.

Scope and Content note This collection is composed of the single volume of the handwritten extracts from Benjamin Seebohm's diary of his trip to America. Entries describe Seebohm's voyage from England to Boston, travel from Boston to Philadelphia, and visits to Friends and attendance at Meetings during his time in America.

It is not known who copied theses extracts from Benjamin Seebohm's diary.

Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of the single volume biography of Benjamin Seebohm. The author of this handwritten biography is unknown. The volume describes Seebohm's early life and education in Germany, and the influence of Quakerism in his young life, particularly the religious visit of Stephen Grellet. The biography also describes Seebohm's travels as a Quaker minister throughout Europe and Great Britain, and includes quoted extracts from Seebohm's journals and letters.
