Scope and Content note This collection is comprised of a single volume anonymous journal. Entries describe attendance at Quaker meetings, the testimonies of community members in meeting, attendance at funerals, and religious reflection. The section beginning in 1805 seems to be in a different handwriting, though it is unknown whose handwriting it might be.

Field, Mary Mekeel, and Avis Alsop. The memorials give brief biographical information for each woman, and many describe their final moments.

The volume is organized chronologically, and after providing initial biographical information about William Penn, the volume provides brief descriptions...
