Overview Sarah Norcliffe Cleghorn (1876-1959) was a Quaker author, reformer, and pacifist from Manchester, Vermont, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Throughout her life she was active in a number of reform movements, including peace, anti-vivisection, women suffrage, anti-lynching, prison reform, and opposition to child labor.
