Overview Horace Mather Lippincott (1877-1967) was a Quaker editor and historian. The collection contains his speeches and writings on topics primarily concerning the Society of Friends. Of particular interest is the scrapbook he compiled in 1946 of papers and photographs of the 1913-1914 Joint Group which met weekly to study the Separation in the Society of Friends, along with other papers on the topic and on the first joint meeting of the two Philadelphia Yearly Meetings in 1946. Overview Priscilla Walker Streets (1848-1927) was a birthright member of Radnor Monthly Meeting (Quaker) and a genealogist of the Walker family of Chester Valley, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Thomas R. and Mary Baynes Walker and in 1875 was married to Dr. Thomas Hale Streets. These papers are largely genealogical data compiled on the Walker family for her book, Lewis Walker of Chester Valley and His Descendents, 1686-1896, and correspondence after its publication.
