While the majority of materials focus on Samuel Bunting Haines, other members of the family are represented among the materials as well.

Letters describe Quaker meetings and, in particular, traveling to other meetings such as in Philadelphia, New York, Indiana, Missouri and Rhode Island, health, family and numerous Friends, as well as some discussion of business. Scope and Contents This collection is composed of one original book and a set of photocopied indices. The book is handwritten, and along with the genealogy includes many glued in photos, newspaper obituaries, and several genealogies or family trees of Leeds families. The set of indices is presented as an index for the family genealogy, and was compiled in 1947 by Morris Leeds.

Scope and Content The collection consists primarily of photographs depicting various Tatum and Leeds family members, including Sarah Mickle Tatum and Lewis L. Tatum, but also Daniel Leeds and a picnic at the Joseph Sturge First Day School. In addition, there are commonplace books of Sarah M. Tatum, at least one kept while she was a student at Westtown Boarding School in Westtown, Pennsylvania and of Lewis L. Tatum.
