Phyllis Pray Bober (b. 1920) received her B.A. from Wellesley College in 1941. In 1973 she accepted the position of Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Bryn Mawr College which she held until 1980. Anne Dean Truitt (1921-2004,) BMC 1943, was an artist and writer. Truitt's formal training as an artist began in 1948 when she studied sculpture at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Washington D.
