Phyllis Pray Bober papers

Overview Phyllis Pray Bober (b. 1920) received her B.A. from Wellesley College in 1941. In 1973 she accepted the position of Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Bryn Mawr College which she held until 1980. Bober's life long interest in culinary history led to courses, "historical banquets", and a book: Art, Culture, and Cuisine: Ancient and Medieval Gastronony.
