Abstract
The collection consists of the correspondence of Henry T. Osborne (1868-1896), a civil engineer and member of Weare Monthly Meeting, New Hampshire. The letters were sent to family and friends at home, most from Amesbury, Massachusetts, where he worked as a surveyor with John P. Titcomb (1891-1932). Scope and Contents
Two soft cover journals. Written when Philip Price was 10 to 12 years old, the journals provide news of the family's daily life and attending Quaker meetings. Price was the son of Benjamin and Jane (Paxson) Price of Birmingham Monthly Meeting. He recorded that his father accompanied John Comly on a religious visit to Friends in Ohio and Indiana Yearly Meetings and mentioned Quaker friends and family, including Nathan Sharpless, John Jackson, Darlingtons, Kirks and many others.
