Archibald Hunter Graham "History of Haverford College Cricket"

Abstract This volume is a typed manuscript of "History of Haverford College Cricket" written by Archibald Hunter Graham in 1926. It recounts the history of cricket at Haverford College, listing students who were on the team and detailing some of the important matches. In the end of the volume there is a letter to J. Henry Scattergood from July 14, 1931 from C.M.M. (possibly Charles Chistopher Morrris, Class of 1904). The letter explains that C.M.M. is returning the History of Haverford College...

The Francis Barton Gummere songbook and notebooks consists of three volumes of papers created by Gummere. There is a songbook created during his time at Haverford College in addition to his notebooks on Germanic life and the philosphy of Baruch Spinoza.

Howard L. Haines autograph and composition books

Identifier: HCS-003-009

Howard Haines’s autograph book contains five categories: Faculty, Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman. Each entry includes basic information on members of these categories, except in the case of the faculty, which was left almost entirely blank. His composition book contains several essays concerning animals, historical and contemporary figures, national histories, and notes on several scientific and mathematical subjects.

Lindley Haines songbook

This collection contains one songbook gathered by Lindley Haines in 1866 and 1867. The song lyrics in the volume were copied by his peers at Haverford College.

Samuel Bunting Haines autograph album

Identifier: HCS-003-032

The autograph album was created during Haines's time at Haverford College. The book contains signatures of his peers and professors from 1858. Haines left the College to later become a lieutenant for the 121st Regiment in the Pennsylvania Volunteers from 1862 to 1863.
