Papers of the Philadelphia families Bloomfield, Coates, Cresson, Emlen, Gumbes, Horner, Howel, Lloyd, Macomb, Moore, Vaux and Wetherill families from the 19th and 20th centuries. Some of these families were Quaker, including Coates, Emlen and Vaux; others had some Quaker family members, including Cresson, other families, including Gumbes and Wetherill, did not remain Quaker.

The Moores and Tysons were Maryland Quaker families. Prominent family members include abolitionist Elisha Tyson, George Ellicott of Ellicott City, Maryland, and Swarthmore College founder Martha Ellicott Tyson.
Stabler-Lea Family Papers,
The Stabler and Lea families were Quakers of Sandy Spring, Maryland, and Alexandria, Virginia. The collections contains chiefly correspondence of Mary Lea Stabler (1822-1888), with her mother, Elizabeth Ellicott Lea (1793-1858), her sister, Martha Lea (1819-1900), her brother, James Lea (1816-1857), and Martha Ellicott Tyson (1795-1873).
