Cope Family Papers
The Cope family was a Quaker family of Chester County and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Baltimore, Maryland. The collection contains family correspondence, genealogical papers and legal papers, a journal (1823) of Ann (Shoemaker) Janney, and other papers of the Cope and related Shoemaker, Yarnell, and Janney families. Individuals represented include Mahlon Day, Joseph John Gurney, and John Janney.
Deeds and Documents
This collection includes an assortment of legal documents, including deeds, marriage certificates, indentures, and leases.
Frank Evans collection
This collection contains materials collected and donated by Frank Evans, spanning the years 1776-1978. Included in the collection are the letters, inventories, business documents, stories, geneological records, photographs, and daguerreotypes of prominant Quaker families, the Smith, Evans, Carter, Cope, Waring, and Whiteall families.

This collection contains an expansive range of subjects, with historical highlights including portraits of a wide variety of Quakers, Quaker Native American missions, the early years of Haverford College, and the rise of photography.

Correspondence, diaries, legal and business papers, artifacts, printed volumes, scrapbook, account books, marriage certificates, deeds, photographs and photo-album, computer disks, typed transcripts and various misc. papers. Papers are chiefly of the related Quaker families of Stokes, Evans, Cope and Wistar of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
